Exhibit: Landscapes of Peter Andrew Dates: April 22, 2003 through June 29, 2003 On exhibit in the Carlile Gallery are the landscapes by well-known
Texas Artist, Peter Andrew. Andrew has been a practicing artist for
many years and professor of art at Stephen F. Austin University. He
was owner of Thunder Hill Studio Art Gallery and was University Galley
Arts Director in Nacogdoches. Peter Andrew's work has been shown at
the Museum of American Illustration in New York City and was shown at
the Presidential Inaugural Gala in Washington, D. C. He is a Fulbright
Fellow, an Ossabaw Island Fellow, and a MacDowell Arts Colony Fellow.
His work won first place awards at the Red River Revel Art Festival
in 1998 and the Rockport Art Festival in 1997. He has had 25 one-man
shows and has exhibited in more than 80 group shows including exhibitions
at Laguna Gloria Museum in Austin and the Texas State Arts and Crafts
Fair in Kerrville.
